Booking & Appointments

The easiest way to book is through our live Booksy calendar — you can browse available appointments, choose your treatment and confirm instantly, any time of day. You'll find the booking widget on our Book Now page.

If you'd prefer a more personal approach, you're very welcome to message us on WhatsApp or call 07561 044 455 and we'll arrange everything from there.

Yes — we'll arrange a consultation before your first treatment to discuss your skin concerns, medical history and goals. This can be done online or in person at the clinic, whichever you prefer. We'll be in touch to arrange this after you book.

We understand that things come up — if you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer the slot to another client.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before your appointment will result in the loss of your deposit. This applies regardless of the reason, as the time cannot be recovered at short notice.

Yes. A deposit of £25 is required to secure all appointments, regardless of treatment type. This is deducted from the cost of your treatment on the day.

The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice.

Please let us know as soon as you can if you're running late — we'll always do our best to accommodate you.

Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be able to be seen, as this can impact the quality and completeness of the treatment. In this case the deposit will be forfeited. We appreciate your understanding — appointment times are carefully scheduled to give each client the time they deserve.

At the Clinic

We're located off Besses Lane, Towcester, NN12 6GQ — within a small gated community of five homes. We're known locally as the hidden house, so here's how to find us:

Drive through the gates and take the driveway that runs immediately past the first house on the right — it will take you round behind that house. Follow it round and you'll arrive at our drive. Look out for the sign at the end of the fence.

If it's your first visit and you'd like some guidance, just WhatsApp us when you're at the gates and we'll talk you in. Full directions are also on our Contact page.

Yes — there is ample parking on the driveway at Gingerbread House. Please leave a little space where you can, but there is plenty of room for clients.

Wear whatever you're comfortable in. If your treatment involves an area of the body (rather than face or neck), it's helpful to wear clothing that's easy to move or adjust so the treatment area can be accessed without difficulty.

Due to the clinical nature of many of our treatments — particularly those involving needles — we ask that clients attend their appointments alone. This helps ensure a focused, professional environment and respects the privacy of all clients.

Appointment length varies depending on the treatment and its extent. As a rough guide:

  • Express treatments (Dermaplaning, Express Clear Facial): around 40–50 minutes
  • Most injectable treatments (Botox®, PRP, Mesotherapy): 45–75 minutes
  • Hydrafacial Basic: around 60 minutes
  • Hydrafacial Premium: around 90 minutes
  • RF Microneedling and advanced treatments: 90 minutes to 2 hours

Your confirmation will include an estimated duration, and Natalia will always allow time for consultation and aftercare discussion within your appointment.

Treatments

There can be a little discomfort with some treatments — typically described as sharp scratches or a mild stinging sensation. It's rarely more than that.

For treatments where more sensation is expected (such as RF Microneedling and some injectable treatments), a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area beforehand to ensure you're comfortable throughout.

Most people are suitable for aesthetic treatments, although there are some exceptions that vary by treatment type. This is one of the reasons we always complete a consultation before your first treatment — to review your medical history and confirm suitability.

If you have a specific health condition or concern, please mention it when booking and we'll advise accordingly. Individual treatment pages on our Treatments section also include suitability information.

No — we are unable to carry out aesthetic treatments on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding. This applies to all treatments we offer. Please wait until you have finished breastfeeding before booking, and we'll be very happy to see you then.

This depends on the treatment and your individual skin condition and goals. As a general guide, we typically recommend between 3 and 6 sessions for most collagen-stimulating treatments such as RF Microneedling, PRP and Mesotherapy.

The exact recommendation will be discussed at your consultation, where Natalia will design a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.

Yes — many treatments work exceptionally well in combination and can deliver significantly enhanced results. We offer a range of combined treatment packages and add-ons specifically designed for this.

See our Combined Treatments page for our packaged options, and our individual treatment pages for available add-ons. For a personalised recommendation, just ask at your consultation or message us on WhatsApp.

It depends on the treatment. Some — like Hydrafacial and Dermaplaning — produce immediately visible improvements in radiance and skin clarity. Others, particularly those that work by stimulating collagen production (RF Microneedling, PRP, Mesotherapy), typically show their best results around 1–2 months after treatment, and continue improving with each session in a course.

This is because collagen production is a biological process that takes time — it cannot be rushed, and the results compound with repeated sessions.

Aftercare

The two most important things to avoid after any treatment are sun exposure and alcohol. Sun exposure must be avoided entirely for the first 24 hours — after that, avoid strong or prolonged sun exposure for a further period while the skin is still recovering. SPF50 is essential throughout. Depending on the treatment, we may also advise avoiding strenuous exercise for 24 hours.

Equally important: do not apply any creams, serums or skincare products to the treated area that haven't been discussed and recommended by Natalia first. Some ingredients can irritate freshly treated skin. Full written aftercare instructions are always provided at your appointment.

We recommend avoiding makeup for at least 24 hours after most treatments. The skin needs time to settle and applying products too soon can cause irritation or interfere with the healing process.

Avoid exercise for the first 24 hours after treatment. After that, light activity is fine. We ask that you avoid anything more strenuous than light exercise for the first 3 days.

Heat and sweat can irritate freshly treated skin and may affect results — so saunas, steam rooms and intense cardio are best avoided during this period.

Yes — using the right products after treatment makes a real difference to your results and recovery. Natalia will recommend suitable products at your appointment, and these are available to purchase at the clinic.

Please don't use any active ingredients (retinol, AHAs, vitamin C serums) on treated areas without checking with us first — some of these can be too stimulating for freshly treated skin.

For the first 24 hours, sun exposure should be avoided entirely. After that, avoid strong or prolonged sun exposure while the skin is still in recovery — and apply SPF50 daily for at least 2 weeks following treatment.

Freshly treated skin is more sensitive to UV damage, and sun exposure too soon can cause pigmentation issues and compromise your results. Ideally, make SPF50 a daily habit regardless — it's the single most effective thing you can do for your skin long-term.

Specific Treatments

Both PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) use your own blood — drawn, centrifuged and reintroduced into the skin — but they differ in concentration and release.

PRP is centrifuged for a shorter time, producing a fluid plasma that delivers growth factors relatively quickly. Results appear sooner.

PRF is centrifuged for longer, producing a more concentrated fibrin matrix. The growth factors release more slowly over time, making PRF longer-lasting and considered the more advanced of the two.

Natalia will recommend the most appropriate option at your consultation based on your skin and goals.

When conducted in a professional clinical environment, by an appropriately trained and qualified practitioner, and in accordance with manufacturer recommendations — yes, Botox® is perfectly safe.

At Gingerbread Aesthetic, all injectable treatments are carried out by Natalia, who holds formal qualifications in aesthetic injectables and follows strict clinical protocols. A full consultation and medical history review is completed before any injectable treatment.

Standard microneedling uses fine needles to create micro-channels in the skin, triggering collagen production through the skin's natural healing response.

RF Microneedling does all of this, but also delivers radiofrequency energy simultaneously through the needles — directly into the dermis. This generates controlled heat in the tissue, which provides additional tightening, lifting and collagen stimulation beyond what needling alone can achieve. The dual action makes RF Microneedling significantly more powerful for skin tightening and lifting.

The Hydrafacial Basic (60 min) delivers the complete Hydrafacial treatment — electrolysis creates hydrogen-rich water, delivered via suction to the skin. It leaves skin immediately clearer, brighter and deeply hydrated.

The Hydrafacial Premium (90 min) includes all of the above, with the addition of needleless mesotherapy — using electroporation technology to deliver a concentrated cocktail of actives deep into the skin without any needles. This provides an additional boost of hydration, radiance and active ingredient delivery for those who want a more intensive result.

More detail is available in our Skin Tips guide to Hydrafacial.

It depends on the specific peel and product used. Some of our chemical peels — particularly the Green Peel Spa Abyss with its herbal-based formula — are well suited to sensitive skin. Others may need more careful consideration.

If you have sensitive skin or any specific concerns, please get in touch before booking so we can recommend the most appropriate option for you. Natalia will always assess your skin at the consultation and will not proceed with any treatment she does not feel is right for your skin.
