What is RF Microneedling?
A powerful combination of two proven skin rejuvenation technologies working together for exceptional results.
Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling uses ultra-fine needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin whilst simultaneously delivering radiofrequency energy deep into the dermis. This dual action triggers the skin's natural healing response, stimulating the production of new collagen and elastin.
The result is firmer, smoother, more refined skin — with improvements in texture, tone, fine lines, scarring and overall radiance. Suitable for the face, neck and body.
At Gingerbread Aesthetic, we use the Prometheus 10 bipolar RF microneedling system — one of our most popular advanced treatments. Because it's bipolar rather than monopolar, energy flows strictly between the needles, so heat is concentrated exactly where it's needed rather than passing through the wider body. Natalia adjusts the needle depth from 0.3mm up to a maximum of 1.8mm for the face, tailoring each session to your individual skin concerns and goals.

Needleless Fractional RF
If needles aren't for you, we also offer a needle-free fractional bipolar RF treatment. Instead of physically puncturing the skin, energy is delivered through a fractional grid of microscopic thermal zones, heating the deeper dermal layers to a controlled 40–45°C — comfortable, described by most clients as a warm massage, with no numbing cream needed and zero downtime.
It's a good fit if you want an immediate lifting and plumping effect before an event, or if you're building up to needled RF Microneedling and want to start gently.

Is RF Microneedling Right for You?
Great for
- Loss of skin elasticity and sagging along the jawline, cheeks and neck
- Fine lines and deeper wrinkles, including crow's feet and smoker's lines
- Acne scarring and atrophic scarring
- Enlarged pores and uneven texture
- Stretch marks and body skin laxity

Not suitable if you
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have a pacemaker, defibrillator or metal implants in the treatment area
- Have an active skin infection, cold sore, or open wound in the area
- Are prone to keloid scarring
- Are undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy
- Have uncontrolled epilepsy or a severe autoimmune condition
Temporary contraindications also apply — including recent Botox, fillers or peels (2–4 weeks), fresh suntan or sunburn, and oral retinoids (6 months) or topical retinoids (7–10 days). Natalia will confirm you're suitable during your consultation.

What to Expect
Consultation
Natalia will discuss your skin concerns, medical history and treatment goals before any treatment begins. A topical anaesthetic cream is applied to ensure your comfort.
The treatment
The RF Microneedling handpiece is passed over the treatment area, delivering microneedles and radiofrequency energy simultaneously. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure and warmth. Treatment time varies by area.
Immediately after
Redness and mild swelling are normal and usually subside within 24–48 hours. You'll leave with a full aftercare plan and Natalia is available for any questions during your recovery.
Results
Initial improvements are often visible within 2–4 weeks as collagen production begins. Results continue to improve over 3–6 months. A course of treatments is recommended for optimal results.
Aftercare
Avoid makeup for 24 hours, direct sun exposure for 48 hours, and use a high SPF sunscreen. Gentle skincare only for the first few days. Natalia will provide full written aftercare instructions.
How many sessions?
This depends on your individual skin concerns and goals. Natalia will recommend a treatment plan during your consultation — typically 3–6 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart for best results.
