Skin Tips

Honest advice on the treatments that can genuinely transform your skin — what they do, who they suit, and what to expect.

RF Microneedling — what it is, what it does, and why the results keep building for months

RF Microneedling

Of all the treatments I offer, RF Microneedling is the one that surprises clients the most — not during the treatment, but two months later, when they look in the mirror and realise their skin has kept on improving long after their last session.

What is RF Microneedling?

RF Microneedling combines two well-established technologies into a single, highly effective treatment. Ultra-fine needles create thousands of tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin, while simultaneously delivering radiofrequency energy deep into the dermis. The combined effect triggers the body's natural healing response — stimulating it to produce new collagen and elastin from within.

The result is firmer, smoother, more refined skin, with improvements in texture, tone, fine lines, pore size and overall radiance. It can be used on the face, neck and body, and is one of the most versatile advanced skin treatments available.

What surprises clients most

What I hear most from clients is that they didn't expect the results to carry on getting better after the treatment course had ended. Collagen production is a slow, biological process — the real transformation often shows itself around two months after the final session, once the skin has had time to fully regenerate.

"Clients often message me two months after their last session saying their skin looks the best it ever has. That delayed improvement is one of the most rewarding parts of the treatment." — Natalia

Why results require a course — not a single session

This is something I explain to every client before we begin, because it's important to have the right expectations. These treatments only work with repeated sessions at regular intervals — and that's not a sales tactic, it's simply how skin biology works.

Between each session, the skin needs time to recover and produce new collagen and elastin. These are the components that deliver the visible results — and they cannot be rushed. Each session builds on the last, and the effects compound over time. A single treatment will produce some improvement, but a course of at least three sessions, spaced appropriately, is where the genuinely significant results come from.

For RF Microneedling, I typically recommend a minimum of three sessions, with at least four to six weeks between each. The most noticeable results are usually visible around two months after the final session — so patience genuinely pays off.

Who is RF Microneedling suited for?

RF Microneedling is suitable for most adults who want to address skin texture, fine lines, firmness or tone. It works well on the face and neck, and is also highly effective for body concerns including skin laxity, stretch marks and scarring on the abdomen, arms and thighs.

It is not suitable during pregnancy, or for clients with certain skin conditions or implanted medical devices. At your consultation, I'll review your medical history and confirm whether it's the right treatment for you.

Why PRP is my favourite treatment — and why your skin heals faster than you'd expect

PRP Therapy

If I could only offer one treatment, it would be PRP. It's entirely natural, it uses your own biology, and the results — when done properly as a course — are genuinely remarkable. The healing is faster than anything else I offer, and the outcome is skin that looks renewed rather than treated.

What is PRP therapy?

PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. A small amount of blood is drawn — similar to a routine blood test — and placed in a centrifuge, which separates the platelet-rich plasma from the red blood cells. This concentrated plasma, packed with growth factors, is then injected back into the skin.

The growth factors trigger the skin's own regenerative processes — stimulating the production of new collagen, improving skin quality and accelerating the renewal of damaged or ageing tissue. Because the treatment uses your own blood, there is no risk of allergic reaction and the body responds to it naturally and readily.

Why it's my favourite treatment

What I love about PRP is that it is entirely natural and safe. You're not introducing a foreign substance — you're concentrating what your own body already produces and putting it to work where it's needed most. The healing is quick, the downtime is minimal compared to many other rejuvenation treatments, and the result looks like a natural improvement in your own skin rather than a procedure.

"PRP is my favourite treatment because the product comes entirely from you. There's something really special about using your own body's healing power — and the results speak for themselves." — Natalia

What results to expect

The changes clients notice most are shallower wrinkles, a renewed skin glow, a more rejuvenated overall look, and noticeably tighter skin. These improvements develop progressively as collagen production increases over the weeks following treatment.

What consistently surprises clients after their first PRP session is how quickly the skin heals. Compared to other rejuvenation treatments they may have had before — lasers, chemical peels, other injectables — the recovery is significantly faster. The skin settles quickly and the improvements begin appearing sooner than expected.

Who is PRP suited for?

PRP is suitable for almost anybody. It's particularly well suited for clients with rosacea, aged or mature skin, or anyone who wants to naturally improve their skin texture and quality without synthetic ingredients. Because it uses your own biology, it is exceptionally well tolerated and very rarely causes adverse reactions.

Why a course matters

As with all collagen-stimulating treatments, a course of sessions gives significantly better results than a single treatment. The skin needs time between sessions to recover, regenerate and produce the collagen and elastin that deliver the visible improvement. Each session builds on the previous one — the effects compound, and what you achieve with a course of three is far greater than three times a single session would suggest.

I typically recommend a course of three PRP sessions, spaced two to four weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every few months to sustain the results.

The Hydrafacial — hydrogen-rich water therapy with no chemicals, no needles, no compromise

Hydrafacial

The Hydrafacial is the treatment I recommend for anyone who wants real results without any chemicals, no needles and no downtime. What makes it unlike anything else is its simplicity — it uses nothing but water, transformed by science, to treat your skin.

What makes the Hydrafacial different

The Hydrafacial is not a standard facial — and it's not like any other Hydrafacial machine either. The machine uses electrolysis to split water into its components: hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2). The resulting hydrogen-rich water is then delivered to the skin via gentle suction.

Hydrogen is one of the most powerful natural antioxidants known to science. When introduced to the skin, it neutralises free radicals — the unstable molecules responsible for oxidative stress, accelerated ageing and inflammation. The treatment works at a cellular level, reducing oxidative damage and supporting the skin's own repair processes. No synthetic chemicals, no serums, no additives — just water, and what it becomes.

The result is skin that is immediately calmer, clearer and more radiant — with no downtime and no recovery period.

Who is the Hydrafacial best suited for?

The Hydrafacial is suitable for all skin types — genuinely, without exception. Dry, oily, sensitive, combination, congested, reactive — it works for all of them. Because it uses no chemicals or synthetic ingredients, it is particularly well suited to sensitive or reactive skin that doesn't tolerate other treatments well. It's also the treatment I recommend most for clients who prefer a refreshing, entirely non-invasive approach.

"The Hydrafacial is unlike anything else I offer — it uses nothing but water and science. No chemicals at all, yet the results are immediate and the skin feels incredible. It's suitable for absolutely everyone." — Natalia

It's also an excellent choice as a regular skin maintenance treatment — many clients book monthly Hydrafacial sessions as part of their ongoing skin health routine, often alongside more advanced treatments.

Basic versus Premium — which should you choose?

The Hydrafacial Basic (60 minutes) delivers the complete hydrogen-rich water treatment — electrolysis, suction delivery and the full antioxidant benefit to the skin. It's pure, effective and leaves your skin looking its absolute best. No chemicals involved at any stage.

The Hydrafacial Premium (90 minutes) includes everything in the Basic, then adds needleless mesotherapy — electroporation technology that drives a concentrated cocktail of hyaluronic acid, vitamins and peptides deep into the skin without a single needle. If you want the antioxidant foundation of the Hydrafacial plus an active ingredient boost for deeper hydration and radiance, the Premium is the one to choose.

First visit or regular maintenance? Book the Basic — it will leave your skin glowing. Specific event coming up or want maximum results? Book the Premium.

Aftercare — what matters most

Aftercare is something I always spend time on with every client, regardless of which treatment they've had. The essentials apply across all our treatments: avoid sun exposure, avoid alcohol in the 24 hours after treatment, and use the recommended skincare products as directed.

I also always emphasise the importance of coming back for follow-up treatments. A single Hydrafacial looks wonderful — but it's the regular repetition that maintains and progressively improves your skin. The same principle applies across all skin treatments: consistency compounds. Your skin builds on each session, producing more collagen and elastin over time, and the results get better the longer you commit to the process.
